WYNDHAM LADIES’ CLUB For the second round of the Wyndham Ladies’ Golf Club’s competition for unearned handicap players showers in the early part of the afternoon made the fairways and greens fairly sticky. Some quite good cards were handed in, the majority of the new players showing distinct promise. Miss Lottie Wilson with 104-35-69 returned the best score and reduced her handicap to 32. Another good card was handed in by Mrs W. Bulling, her score being 105-31-74, an excellent card for a firstyear player. , . WRESTLING CLARK BEATS BOESCH (United Press Association) DUNEDIN, June 8. A professional wrestling contest held in Dunedin tonight between Paul Boesch 16.4 and. Jim Clark 16.10 went the full eight rounds and resulted in a win on points for Clark. The bout was bright and interesting from the opening gong and a packed house enjoyed every minute of it. The sympathies of the crowd were mostly with Boesch, and the referee’s decision did not meet with a very favourable reception.
