DUTCH QUEEN VISITS BELGIUM
UNITY OF SMALL POWERS EMPHASIZED BRUSSELS, May 23. Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands has arrived in Brussels. She was greeted by King Leopold of the Belgians. The King, in a speech at a banquet to mark Queen Wilhelmina’s visit, said that her recent appeal to her own people for moral and spiritual rearmament had found a response among the people of Belgium. “The small Powers of Europe number more than 109,000,000 inhabitants and their unity in moral and economic spheres would assist in the solution of many of the problems threatening civilization,” said King Leopold.
