BRITISH AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP
NEW ZEALANDER BEATEN (United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright) LONDON, May 23. Results in the second round of the British amateur golf championship at Hoylake include the following:— W. M. Robb beat D. C. Collins (New Zealand), 3 and 2. J. Bruen beat L. G. Crawley, 4 and 2. C. Yates (America) beat D. Cameron, 2 and 1. _ .* H. Thomson beat A. McNaim, 2 and 11 Collins played fine golf against Robb, but was one down at the turn. He lost the tenth, won the eleventh, lost the twelfth and won the thirteenth. The exchanges then ended and Robb won the fourteenth with a birdie 4 and the fifteenth when Collins was bunkered. Collins could only halve the sixteenth.
