Preservation Of Bush
A movement for the preservation of a section of virgin bush on the northern side of the Tokanui-Haldane-Curio Bay road was supported by the Southland provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union at its meeting yesterday. It was stated that a public meeting in the district had sent a petition to the Minister of Lands (the Hon. F. Langstone) asking that the area be preserved.
