RUGBY FOOTBALL
SOLE SELECTOR FOR CANTERBURY
(United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, March 22. The Canterbury Rugby Union decided tonight to revert to a sole selector for the coming season. No change was made in the method of appointing the selector, a motion seeking to place that power in the hands of the executive instead of a special committee of delegates from the senior clubs and sub-unions being defeated.
