BROOD MARES SOLD AT TRENTHAM YEARLING BY GUSTAVO ALSO SUBMITTED A sale of brood mares recently imported from England was conducted by Wright Stephenson and Company, Ltd., at Trentham on Saturday morning. All had been mated, to New Zealand time, to Lang Bian, a young French horse by Massine, a successful representative of the St. Simon line. Other horses offered included several yearlings by Gustavo on behalf of Mr L. C. Hazlett, of Dunedin. The following sales were effected:— Gns.
