INDIA MAY WITHDRAW FROM LEAGUE
OPPOSITION TO BRITISH POLICY (Received February 11, 6.30 p.m.) NEW DELHI, February 10. The Legislative Assembly passed by 55 votes to 45 a Congress resolution demanding India’s immediate withdrawal from the League of Nations on the grounds of failure to implement the sanctions article and Britain’s wrong policy in Palestine in contravention of the mandates provisions and disregard of Indian feelings.
