FOOD RESERVES IN EVENT OF WAR
AUSTRALIA PLANNING ON LARGE SCALE CANBERRA, February 10. The establishment of large inland storage depots for use in an emergency will be considered by representatives of the dairying, fruit and wool industries at a conference called by the Ministe, of Commerce (Sir Earle Page) in Melbourne on Monday. Other objects of the meeting are the preparation of a plan to co-ordinate resources for the assistance of Britain in an emergency, to estimate local requirements and consumption in wartime and to deal with the. internal distribution of food in war-time.
