MASTER GROCERS IN CONFERENCE

TIMARU, February 6.
Forty-five delegates are attending the sixteenth conference of the New Zealand Master Grocers’ Federation, which opened at Caroline Bay this afternoon, Mr M. J. Campbell presiding. The delegates were welcomed by the Mayor, Mr W. G. Tweedy, and other speakers were the Rev. Clyde Carr, M.P., Mr E. Darroch, president of the Chamber of Commerce, and Mr C. D. Gibson, of the South Canterbury Grocers’ Association. The conference will end on Friday.
