WAIAU WELFARE SOCIETY
The monthly meeting of the Waiau Welfare Society was presided over by Mrs Stancombe. The following members were present: Mesdames Whitehead. Benneworth, Duncan, Gregory, Low, Walker, Laurie, Mangan, Robins, Bruca Henderson, Harper, Tilbury, McClymont.
A presentation was made to Mrs Dodds before her departure for Nelson. Mrs Dodds had been a member of the society since her arrival in Tuatapere about 10 years ago. Mrs McClymont won the competition and Mesdames Harper and Tilbury were hostesses.
