FINE OF £25 FOR BOOKMAKING

NEW PLYMOUTH, February 1. Fined £250 for bookmaking last March, when he appeared as a first offender, Vincent Sisarich was again charged with bookmaking today before the same Magistrate, Mr W. H. Wood-! ward, who fined him £25. The Magistrate explained that hei believed fines imposed for offences of. the kind should relate to the volume of business done.
