NO OFFICIAL ADVICE RECEIVED
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 15. No official information has been received by the New Zealand Government of a visit to the Dominion by the Duke of Kent. This statement was made by the Prime Minister (the Rt Hon. M. J. Savage) when asked this evening if he were in a position to confirm a London newspaper statement that the Duke was to visit New Zealand for the centennial celebrations in 1940. Any member of the Royal Family, he said, would be assured of a warm welcome from the people of New Zealand.
