DUKE OF KENT MAY VISIT DOMINION

STAY DURING CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS LONDON, December 14. The Evening Standard says that plans have been prepared for the Duke of Kent to visit New Zealand for two or three months early in 1940 to take part in the centenary celebrations. The Duke, who a few weeks ago was appointed Governor-General of Australia and later announced that he would live in Canberra during his term of office, will broadcast to Australia at 9 a.m. (Greenwich mean time) on January 26.
