ENGINEER AND GUIDE LOST IN BUSH
NO FOOD FOR THREE DAYS SYDNEY, November 26. James Fletcher, aged 53, a mining engineer, and his guide William Hulbert, aged 24, who had been lost in dense bush on the ranges in the vicinity of Lithgow since last week-end, were found alive today by the police and, other searchers, assisted by aeroplanes. Fletcher was in a bad way but the younger man quickly recovered when given food. . Fletcher and Hulbert went into the bush in search of shale deposits and they were found miles off their true course. They had had no food since Tuesday.
