REPATRIATION PLANS FOR ITALIANS
SPECIAL FACILITIES FOR TRAVEL (Received November 24, 6.30 pun.) ROME, November 23. The Repatriation Commission at its first meeting (revealed that application may be made by labourers and professional men through consuls. Special facilities will be offered Italians with capital, and fares for operatives without money will be paid by the Government; others will receive a reduction of 50 per cent. The scheme will begin with Italians in nearby countries and those elsewhere will be considered Inter. On November 17 the Italian Government announced the formation of a permanent commission to promote and facilitate the repatriation of all Italians abroad.
