Three thousand donations, representing £42,000, have been received in London by the House of Rothschild in response to a non-sectarian appeal for Jewish refugees issued by the leaders of British Jewry five days ago. Earl Baldwin, of Bewdley, the former Prime Minister, will broadcast on De- , cember 8 for £50,000 for the relief on non-Aryan and Christian refugees from Germany.
