HORSES RETURN FROM AUSTRALIA

AURANIA TO BE SPELLED AT TRENTHAM .(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 23. A contingent of thoroughbreds which has been racing in Australia returhed to the Dominion by the "Westraha today. In addition to the Melbourne Cup winner, Catalogue, there was his stable companion, Conveyer, who has been unsuccessful, Royal Chief, who won three important events at Sydney meetings, Raeburn, who gained placemoney on a couple of occasions, and Aurania, winner of the Maribyrnong Plate on the opening day of the Victorian Racing Club’s meeting at Flemington. Aurania, who is owned by Mr H. R. Telford, part-owner of Phar Lap, has been sent to his brother. H. A. Telford, of Trentham, to be spelled and to gain the benefit of the rich New Zealand grasses. Also aboard the Westralia was an' Arab stallion who went north in company with Catalogue and Conveyer. It is understood the importation is the property of Mr W. S. Glenn, of Rangitikei.
