MUNRO HANDS LICENCE IN SYDNEY, November 24, J. Munro, one of the greatest jockeys in the history of the Australian turf, has handed in his licence to the Australian Jockey Club, thus ending a riding career which extended to three continents. A later message says that Munro has decided to retire and will probably become a trainer at Randwick. JOCKEY’S BODY FOUND IN BATH (Received November 24, 9.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 24.
