CRISIS FOR HUNGARY

NAZI INFLUENCE IN CABINET GOVERNMENT LOSES MAJORITY ' I REPORTED GERMAN CLAIMS ON MINORITY’S BEHALF (United press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received Nov. 23, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, November 23. A political .crisis has developed in Hungary as a result of 68 deputies withdrawing their support from the Government party, whose membership is thus reduced to 92 in a House of 247, says the Budapest correspondent of The Daily Telegraph. It is now doubtful whether Parliament will assemble today as planned. The crisis has been expected since the dropping of four members of Dr Bela Imredy’s Cabinet for alleged pro-German sympathies. It is understood that Germany is pressing for the appointment of four pro-Nazi Ministers, one of whom would represent the German minority in Hungary. NAZI ACTIVITIES IN DENMARK POLICE MAKE 12 ARRESTS IN COPENHAGEN (Received November 23, 11.30 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, November 23. The police announce 12 arrests, including the German-bom .Copenhagen correspondent of the Berlin newspaper Borsen Zeitung,. after the discovery of an. organization for supplying news of ships’ movements in Danish waters and other information valuable to a foreign Power in war time. The organization is also believed to have acted as a clearing house for information collected by Nazi agents in the Scandinavian and Baltic countries. The police had been aware of the. organization’s activities for a long time, but hitherto refrained from taking action, fearing Germany’s reaction. A later message states that eight Germans and four Danes were arrested, including Captain Horst von Phflujk Harttupg, a newspaper correspondent.
