FIRST WOOL SALE AT AUCKLAND

PROSPECTS REGARDED AS GOOD CROSSBREDS SHOW RISE IN LONDON (Special to The Times) AUCKLAND, November 23. Prospects for the first wool sale of the season to be held at the Auckland Town Hall on Saturday look quite good according to Mr B. J. Marquet, chairman of the Auckland Woolbrokr ers’ Association, when commenting on the rise' in prices for crossbreds at the opening of the London series. Mr Marquet added that it was impossible to forecast values, as the wool . market was notoriously a gamble. The catalogue comprises 24,181 bales. Practically all the overseas and New Zealand buyers have now arrived in Auckland.
