JERUSALEM, October 26,
Five Arabs were killed in extensive army operations north of Nazareth. The Arab village of Miar in the Haifa district, was demolished as a punishment for sniping and the damaging of roads. z " The British force in Palestine at present numbers 18,500 officers and men. Permits have been issued allotting a maximum of 4870 foreign immigrants, mostly Jews, for the six months ending March 31, 1939.
