SEARCHING INQUIRY INTO CRASH
POWERS OF COURT OF LAW CANBERRA, October 27. The Government has decided to make a revolutionary change in the constitution of the committee which wiU investigate the disaster to the air linei Kyeema, which crashed on Tuesday with the loss of 18 lives.
The Attorney-General (Mr R. G. Menzies) has announced that because of the special circumstances involved in the disaster a heading barrister and a highly qualified technical aviation expert, not connected with the Civil Aviation Department, will be added to the membership of the committee. The inquiry will assume the same position as a court of law.
