NO INVESTORS’ PANIC DURING CRISIS
SAVINGS BANK DEPOSITS INCREASED (British Official Wireless) (Received October 26, 6.30 pun.) RUGBY, October 25. Presiding at the London regional conference of the National Savings movement, Lord Mottistone said that during the crisis small investors in England did not rush to withdraw their money. On the contrary, they had increased the amount available to the Government by £2,300,000.
