BIBLE CLASS RALLY

The annual Labour Day rally of the Bible classes of the Mataura Presbytery was held at Waikoikoi. The weather was ideal and there was a big attendance of members and friends from all parts of die district. The morning meeting was addressed by the Rev. M. G. Milmine, of Waikaka Valley, who referred briefly to the coming summer corfference of New Zealand Bible classes at Gore. The Rev. J. C. Loan, of Edendale, also spoke. The dinner was provided by the Waikoikoi branch of the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union. At the afternoon meeting an address was given by the Rev. J. G. Mathews, of Riversdale. Eighteen classes were represented at this meeting. Afternoon tea was served in the recreation grounds. The sports events resulted as follows:— Senior young men, 100 yards: J.
