RIGHTISTS GAIN IN FRENCH SENATE
TWO CABINET MEMBERS REJECTED (Received October 24, 8.35 pun.) PARIS, October 24. In the Senate elections the Rightists gained nine seats at the expense of the Radical-Socialists and the Centre group. The Radical-Socialists still have a majority. Two members of the Cabinet, M. Albert Sarraut (Minister for the Interior) and M. Queuille (Minister of Agriculture), were re-elected. No Communists were returned.
