SECRET FIGHTING IN RUTHENIA
Czechs Round Up Terrorists HUNGARIAN OFFICERS IN REBEL RANKS (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received October 24, 8.35 p.m.) LONDON,'October 24. Nearly 800 Hungarian terrorists have been killed by Czechs in the course of recent secret fighting in Ruthenia, says the Prague correspondent of The Daily Herald. Four hundred were taken prisoner, 40 of whom are officers of the Hungarian Army.
The terrorists were armed with machine-guns, rifles and hand-gren-ades, 13,000 of them having prepared terroristic activities in Ruthenia and Slovakia. Most of the terrorists are now surrounded and, it is expected, will be captured or dispersed.
