TENNIS MATCHES AT WINTON

TOURNAMENT HELD YESTERDAY HANDICAP DOUBLES EVENTS Record entries were received for the annual handicap tournament held at Winton yesterday by the Winton Lawn Tennis Club. The weather was ideal and there was a big attendance of spectators throughout the day. . The men’s doubles competition was won by R. Howe and A. McKay, of Invercargill and the women’s doubles by Misses J. Wilson and R. Wilson, of Balfour. The final of the mixed doubles was played in fading light and F. Lindsay (Winton) and Miss L.
