(United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, October 24. J. W. Jackson, of the Avondale Club, Won the South Island golf championship at Harewood today, beating J. D. Galloway, of the Rangiora Club, 1 up at the 36th hole. , J. L. Blair won the South Island Plate this afternoon, beating N. Warrant, 4 and 2. In the semi-finals played this morning Blair .beat W. M.
