The Minister of Education (the Hon. P. Fraser) who addressed a meeting of electors in Invercargill last night, will return north today. Messrs William Young (Drummond) and N. Moore (Tapanui) were elected directors of the Farmers’ Dairy Federation Ltd. at the annual meeting yesterday. The death of Mr D. J. Heenan, of Nightcaps, was referred to at the annual meeting of the Farmers’ Dairy Federation Ltd. yesterday by the chairman (Mr John Fisher). He said that Mr Heenan/had been one of the only two surviving original directors of the company and had taken the greatest helpful interest in the affairs of the company. A motion of sympathy was passed with the relations of Mr Heenan.
