Next Thursday the newly-formed Glee Club will present its first programme in the Women’s Club Rooms. The only mixed voice choir in Invercargill the Glee Club will present madrigals, glees and modern part songs. The supporting artists are all well known to the public of Invercargill and will be heard in instrumental trios, pianoforte solos and duets and vocal solos, duets and quartettes. The artists include Misses Rona Holloway, Leone Watson, Ruth Wesney, Lilian Hunter, Joy McCrostie, Irene Mclndoe and Messrs Ralph Wesney, Victor le Petit, Alan Tregonning, John Pringle and the well-known Lyric Four. The conductor of the choir is Mr D. Highet.
