SENATE AMENDMENT > TO MEASURE
HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES NOT EXEMPTED (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received June 29, 10.5 p.m.) CANBERRA, June 29. The Senate by 16 votes to 6 agreed to an amendment to reverse the decision by the House of Representatives to exempt from the provisions of the Insurance Bill hospital employees receiving benefits not less favourable than those provided under the scheme. This was the only important amendment made by the Senate in passing the Bill.
