GERMAN AGREEMENT ON AUSTRIAN LOANS
FRESH BASIS OF TRADE WITH BRITAIN? "LONDON, June 28. The Daily Telegraph understands that the Anglo-German* discussions will shortly result in a German agreement to accept responsibility for the Austrian debts' conditional on a fresh basis of trade between Britain and Germany and Empire countries and a rearrangement of interest rates on the DawesYoung loans. Britain pointed out that the Dawes-Young loans were a matter for the bondholders, to whom the German proposals were being submitted.
