The basket is worked in running stitch, the flowers in lazy-daisy in soft shades of lavender and yellow. The pattern contains a transfer pattern of two motifs 9 x 10¼ inches, two motifs 6¼ x 7¼ inches, four motifs 2½ x 4 inches and two motifs 4½ x 6 inches as well as colour suggestions.
