SPINSTERS’ PENSIONS PROPOSED
LABOUR MOTION ADOPTED BY HOUSE OF COMMONS (Received February 18, 6.30 pan.) LONDON, February 18. The House of Commons adopted a Labour motion for the appointment of a committee to inquire into the justice and practicability of granting spinsters pensions of 10/- a week at the age of 55.
