PILOTS, NOT AIRCRAFT, BLAMED
ACCIDENTS IN AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE (Received February 17, 6.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 17. Two c.ommittees of experts reported to the Minister of Defence (Mr H. V. Thorby) that there “is nothing fundamentally wrong” with the Hawker Demon aircraft of the Royal Australian Air Force. The pilots of some of the aeroplanes involved in the accidents in November and December are held responsible by the committees.
