FLOWER SHOW AT MAKAREWA

WOMEN’S DIVISION OF FARMERS’ UNION BLOOMS REACH PREVIOUS STANDARD The Makarewa branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers Union held a successful flower show in the public hall. Because of counterattractions the entries in the floral and needlework sections were fewer than usual. The following were the judges:— Floral, Mr Stewart, Karitane; produce, Mrs Russell; needlework, Mrs Brown; babies, Nurse Meredith.
