BADMINTON PLAYERS FROM AUSTRALIA

TOUR OF DOMINION DURING JUNE AND JULY (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 16. Mr A. H. Richards, honorary secretary of the New Zealand Badminton Association, has been advised from Australia that a team of four men and four women badminton representatives from that country will arrive in Wellington on June 21 to play a series of matches throughout the Dominion. The team will leave Wellington for Australia on July 7. Mr Richards states that the present intention of the New Zealand Badminton Association is to divide the team into two parts, two men and two women to tour the North Island and two men and two women in the South Island. »

The proposal, he says, is for test matches to be played by these divisions in the North and South Islands, concluding with a test match for the team as a whole against New Zealand at Wellington. Other matches would probably be arranged in the two islands.
