GERMAN ATTEMPT ON HIMALAYAS
PLANS FOR SUMMER EXPEDITION (Received January 14, 8.35 p.m.) LONDON, January 14. A new attempt is being planned by German mountaineers on an ascent of Nanga Parbat in the summer, says the Berlin correspondent of The Times. The party will be under the leadership of Paul Bauer, who headed several major Himalayan enterprises.
