AMERICAN TRADE PACT WITH AUSTRALIA
EXPLORATORY WORK BEGINS (Received December 21, 6.30 p.m.) CANBERRA, December 21. The Consul-General for the United States had a preliminary discussion with the Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) about the negotiation of a trade agreement. The exploratory work on each side will begin hnmarliately.
