TASMAN AIR SERVICE TERMINAL

MR GATTY DENIES HAVING INFORMATION (Special to The Times) AUCKLAND, December 9. “Any suggestion that I have information about the locality of the Tasman air service terminal is absurd, saia Mr Harold Gatty, special representative of Pan-American Airways in New Zealand and Australia when a discussion of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce was referred to him. Captain Holm asked at a meeting of the chamber .whether information about the terminal had been withheld from the public and given to Mr Gatty. Reference was made to a statement by Mr Gatty that there would be a definite advantage in having the Pan-American Airways time-tables fitting in with the departure of the machine to fly the Tasman from Auckland to Australia. “I know nothing of any choice oi. terminal for the Tasman service, though I have seen in the newspapers that the Government has appointed a commission to investigate the matter,’ 1 Mr Gatty continued.
