SUGGESTED CANDIDATURE FOR PRESIDENCY
CHICAGO, December. 8. A movement is afoot to nominate Colonel C. A. Lindbergh as the Republican candidate for the Presidency in 1943. A group of Mid-West Republican leaders emphasizes that he is not only a public idol whose popularity is singularly undiminished with the years, but recent advancement as a serious-minded business man puts the finishing touches to him as a candid£ They insist that probably he is the sole man able to win the next election against the Democrats.
