WOMEN’S DIVISION

RIVERTON BRANCH At the monthly meeting of the Riverton branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union Miss McNaughton presided over a fair attendance. A vote of sympathy was passed with Mrs Mclntosh in the death of a re.lation. Community singing, solos and competitions were held. Those who assisted were Mrs J. McKay, Miss Maida Cussens, Miss McKay and Miss B. Engebretsen. Mrs Stevenson, being the oldest member of the division, cut the Christmas cake. The result of the bloom competition was as follows:—Mrs Calder 1, Mrs Smyth 2, Mrs S. Helm 3.
