CONFIRMING MANY REGULATIONS

BILL INTRODUCED IN HOUSE

(From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, December 7. Regulations issued under the Agricultural (Emergency Powers) Act are validated and confirmed by the Agricultural Emergency Regulations Confirmation Bill which was introduced by Governor-General’s Message in the House of Representatives today. Under the principal Act all such regulations have to be confirmed annually by special legislation. The regulations dealt with in this year’s Bill are the Dairy Board Election Regulations, the Dairy Produce (Special Milk Products) Regulations, the Export Butter-Box Pool Regulations, which are to be made retrospective to July 1, 1936, the Dairy Factory Supply Regulations, and the Butter Marketing Regulations.
