HIGHER PAY FOR CIVIL SERVANTS
NEW AUSTRALIAN RATES MELBOURNE, December 7. An additional expenditure of £500,000 a year by the Federal Ministry is involved in a determination given by the Commonwealth Public Service Arbitrator, who has granted an increase in the basic wage of all employees in the Federal Public Service by £l6 a year for adult males and £ll a year for adult females.
