KEEN DEMAND FOR SPECIAL CLIPS (Received December 7. 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 7. At the wool sales 10,040 bales were offered and 9470 were sold, also 1063 privately. There was wider competition from the Continent and Yorkshire and good support from Australian mills. The catalogue included a number of specialty clips which met a very keen demand The top price was 284 d, creating a new season’s record for nroasy Merino.
