RUSSIAN VETERINARY SURGEONS EXECUTED
SPYING AND WRECKING FOR FOREIGN POWER (Received December 7, 11.10 p.m.) MOSCOW, December 6. Nine veterinary surgeons were executed at Irkutsk for spying and wrecking on behalf of a foreign Power, spreading foot-and-mouth disease and deliberately starving animals. Their activities resulted in the destruction of 108,000 head of cattle in 1936.
