PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT SYSTEM
INSTALLATION AT AUCKLAND, RAILWAY STATION (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 6. A public announcement system similar to those already in use at Wellington and Christchurch is to be installed at the Auckland railway station. The apparatus will be fitted during the next few days and it is expected to be in use in about a fortnight’s time, when the first of the heavy Christmas traffic will be using the station and its facilities.
