The Eastern Southland B grade competition fixture between Wyndham B and Edendale B was played on the Wyndham courts on Saturday, the home team winning easily by 12 sets to four. McKenzie (president) presided at the monthly meeting of the Wyndham branch of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association in the Masonic Hall. The members of the visiting committee briefly reported on their activities during the past month. Arrangements were made to hold the next monthly meeting and social. Community singing, led by Messrs W. Mclvor and A. C. Bulling, proved very enjoyable. Mr W. Brown (Glenham) was the accompanist. ALMA LODGE, 1.0.0. F. The monthly meeting of Alma Lodge, I. was well attended, visitors being present from Star of Waikiwi (Mataura), Pioneer (Gore) and Waimahaka Lodges. It was reported that following a recent social in the Oddfellows’ Hall, extensive damage had been done by certain persons, lights being broken and other furniture knocked about.

The secretary was instructed to take legal action against the persons concerned if the amount involved in repairs was not paid.
