GREENKEEPER STRUCK ON HEAD

(United Press Association) DUNEDIN, December 2.

Attacked on Tuesday night _by a man who was apparently searching for lost golf balls Henry Eskrick, the greenkeeper of the Balmacewan Golf Club, was struck on the head and arm with a stick and suffered a cut above one eye and bruises. Fortunately the injuries were not serious and Eskrick was able to attend to his work yesterday. The police have the matter in hand.
