COUNCIL OF DEFENCE
MATTERS OF POLICY DISCUSSED (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 30. Matters of general defence policy and administration were discussed at a meeting of the Council of Defence this morning in the room of the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage). Mr Savage said afterwards that he had no public pronouncement to make about the proceedings which were of a general nature.
